With chronic low back pain or non-specific low back pain, there is often no damage visible on an MRI scan or on an X-ray. Nevertheless, complaints are experienced in the back, pelvis and legs. This is often the result of a changed movement pattern, fear and/or reduced control of the trunk.
A pelvic physiotherapist looks at chronic low back pain from a different perspective. Stability and engine control are mapped. Colleague physiotherapists often train with a lot of strength before the base is present. Together we can see if a suitable and long-term solution is possible for the complaints.
