Groin complaints are often sports related. However, it is not always clear when the injury occurred. The complaints often arise after exercise. People suffer (more) when the groin complaints do not just go away.
Groin complaints must be viewed broadly, from the entire chain. For example, the structure of the foot, the mobility of the knee, the capsule of the hip and the stability of the trunk must be considered.
The (pelvic) physiotherapist takes a very broad view of the problem and looks at underlying relationships. The physiotherapist has many techniques to remedy the complaints.
